Once adopted, Medicover Sport package owners will soon be able to use Polish McFIT gyms to enjoy their unique design, leading technology solutions and dedicated personal trainers.

McFIT Polska is available in the largest cities of Poland – Warsaw (4 clubs), Wroclaw (2 clubs), Poznan, Lodz, Krakow, Katowice, Gdynia, Białystok, Bydgoszcz and Szczecin. Recognized for its uniqueness, McFIT gyms offer unique design, modern technological solutions and access to world-renowned classes and training programs.

The McFIT fitness club network is owned by RSG Group, a global leader in the fitness industry, serving a total of 6.4 million customers. The company operates in 48 countries, has more than 1,000 clubs and employs 41,000 people. McFIT studios accept clients in Germany, Spain, Austria, Poland and Italy. McFIT has 268 seats in the fitness services market in Europe. McFIT opened its first fitness club in Poland in 2014 on Warsaw’s prestigious Nowy iatwiat Street. After eight years of managing to make McFIT one of the most popular fitness brands among Polish gyms, RSG Group transfers ownership of its Polish subsidiary to Medicover.

– In 2014, we opened our first McFIT club in Warsaw, which was another important milestone for the RSG Group in Europe. With a fantastic team, we opened 14 places in Poland and managed them successfully, which we are proud of. Acquisition of the Gold’s Gym brand made RSG Group the number one fitness brand in the world in 2020 – but it also changed our commitment to other markets, with a special focus on North America. Therefore, we are delighted that Medicover has found the ideal business partner who understands market rules, comes from the industry and will continue to manage McFIT clubs in Poland professionally and honestly – along with our entire team and board. Of course, existing customers of the network will still be able to use McFIT gyms and fitness clubs, says COO, RSG Group GmbH Vito Scavo.

Medicover continues its intensive investment in the fitness segment in Poland, increasing the size of its gym network to 106. Poland, a leading private healthcare operator in Central and Eastern Europe, is looking forward to working with the McFIT team.

– We are proud and happy that the Polish branch of this unique network has joined the Medicover and Medicover Sport families. This is an important operation that we expect, which adds to our dynamic development in this segment. We admired this network because it is considered one of the best in the world. McFIT Clubs, with its community, design and dedicated staff, is creating the future of fitness as an important sport in the world. Arthur Białkowski, Medicover’s Managing Director of Business Services, comments.

At McFIT clubs, every gym attendee will find something for themselves – whether they are interested in circuit training, functional training or group training.

– Nowadays we need more than training at the highest level to motivate ourselves to regular sports. We need the attention of the coaches, their experience with the latest, effective and proven forms of training and the perfect atmosphere. All this in an elegant and modern interior. The quality of McFIT can be compared with the best fitness clubs in the world. I believe that our clients will appreciate this latest generation of training – adds Arthur Białkowski.
